My very first week of training in the VW up GTI is coming to an end and it was a resounding success. I was able to gain my first experience at the Nürburgring and Hockenheimring and learn a lot.

✨Rok Cup Festival 01.12.2024✨

Last weekend, the last race of the year took place in Franciacorta, characterized by changeable weather conditions ranging from fog to sunshine. After a difficult qualifying and 10th place on the grid, I was able to move up to 7th place in the first heat. In the third heat, however, my race ended early after a good start when I was pushed out in the first corner. As a result, I had to start from 10th place again in the final, but with strong speed I was able to move up to 7th place again in the end. So it was an eventful last race weekend with lots of battles, which was great fun.

Catching up to P5 in Race 1 after a difficult Qualifying proved that we had a good speed during the entire weekend. In the second Race while i got closer to the front group i got taken out of the track by some questionable movements of an other driver, as a result i felt back to the end of the field but then managed it to catch up on P9.

A look back at the Rok World Finals 🌍
I look back on this #superfinal2022 with a smile. We had a good qualifying with P4 and were able to hold this position in some heats. After a time penalty and a crash in the heats that followed, I had to start the final from the middle of the field, which made it harder to fight at the front. But we showed the speed to fight at the front and we'll keep working from there for the next one.
